Diffusione
Pseudothelphusidae č una famiglia di granchi d'acqua dolce che si trovano principalmente nei torrenti di montagna nei Neotropici. Si ritiene che abbiano avuto origine nelle Grandi Antille e poi abbiano attraversato l'America centrale attraverso un ponte di terra del Pliocene.
